What are Earth Anchoring Systems?
Earth anchoring systems are designed and used worldwide to support various structures. They are commonly used for geotechnical and construction applications and may be temporary or permanent.
Earth anchors can be impact driven into the rock or soil or run in spirally dependent on its design and force resistant characteristics. Once the earth anchor is installed and load locked, it exerts forces to the soil above it, with the soil providing resistance in turn.
Earth anchor installation is entirely dependent on site analysis which will determine the soil load resistance, type of anchor to be used, depth the anchor has to be installed and installation method.

What are MANTA RAY® anchors?
MANTA RAY® anchors, a patented labor and time saving device, work like a toggle bolt in soil. The anchors are driven into the ground (with no holes, no digging and no concrete), providing a safe and environmentally sensitive installation.
After driving the anchor to the required depth, the drive steel is removed and an upward pull on the anchor rod rotates the MANTA RAY into a perpendicular “anchor lock” position in undisturbed soil. After the anchor is tipped it can be simultaneously load tested. The result: superb holding capacities. MANTA RAY anchor systems offer breakthrough earth anchoring technology for uses in the Utility, Civil Engineering, Marine and Construction markets.
